Business & Sustainability Programme - Asia Seminar
Insignia Ventures Academy is partnering with the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL) to deliver the Asia seminar of their Business & Sustainability Programme (BSP), a 4 day immersion programme with executives from across the region at the heart of Singapore’s business district.
The 4-day seminar brings together senior executives with academics, industry experts, CSOs, and peers for multidisciplinary sessions that equip participants to build enterprises and to transform businesses in ways that accelerate a shift towards sustainable economies. Participants gain access to a global network of 40,000 senior leaders and practitioners, exclusive events across continents, and certification. Let us know if you are interested in joining the 2026 cohort.
Upcoming seminar: 13-16 October 2026 at the Singapore Exchange
The Business & Sustainability Programme (BSP) offers senior leaders the chance to join a world-class programme at the cutting edge of innovative, market-based responses to sustainability challenges. Since 1994, the BSP has evolved and grown into a global series run in key locations around the world, becoming a benchmark for leadership education focused on accelerating business transformation. More than 4,000 alumni now form a powerful international network driving business action, innovation and market-wide change.
The programme equips leaders with the knowledge, inspiration and networks to build and execute ambitious strategies, aligning commercial performance with sustainability transition. During the seminar participants identify opportunities for innovation and market influence, to build the conditions for sustainable solutions to scale.
Who is this for?
The programme welcomes senior leaders looking for the tools to understand and act on their organisation's sustainability across dimensions. Each seminar includes a mix of carefully selected senior executives from a range of geographies and industries, to enhance peer-learning and collaboration.
The programme attracts C-suite executives, founders, MDs, CSOs and ESG leads, senior investment professionals, board members, and family office principals across financial services, consumer, industrials, energy, tech, and beyond.
Benefits for participants:
During the four-day seminar, participants will:
- Build a critical understanding of the current forces shaping the global operating context, and the impact on short, mid and long term horizon, to inform today’s strategy and capital allocations.
- Identify the most strategic and pragmatic pathways to strengthen commercial performance in a carbon and resource constrained world and to accelerate and benefit from transition to more sustainable markets.
- Gain insight into some of the most promising innovations, and effective approaches to building the conditions to scale internationally.
- Explore the potential for pre-competitive collaboration and market-making to create the enabling conditions for innovation and investment in the solutions of the future
- Build insight into what works in driving sustainable business transformation today, aligning capital and culture to unlock rapid progress.
- Gain a lifelong peer network of senior leaders navigating similar decisions, with opportunities to engage on key topics.
A global programme for impact
Blending global frameworks with regional case studies, the seminar empowers delegates to drive high-impact change within complex operating environments, building a regional network of forward-looking, sustainability-informed leaders.
Key themes include:
- Navigating the forces restructuring global markets: drive growth and adaptability in your business amidst energy and resource security concerns, supply chain disruption, geopolitical realignment, rapid innovation developments in AI, computing, and financial technology, climate and social risks
- Implementing strategies for a resilient business: move from compliance, reputation and incrementalism toward future-fit innovation and competitive transformation
- The architecture of market-making: align your business's commercial performance with rapid industry transition, leveraging blended capital structures, risk-sharing mechanisms, and pre-competitive collaboration
- From individual conviction to organisational action: close the gap between leadership awareness and organisational action, especially for multi-market businesses with highly complex behavioural and institutional dynamics
- The role of leadership in navigating the transition: how senior executives and investors can build the personal credibility, institutional authority, and coalition-building capability to drive ambitious strategies, shape enabling market conditions, and sustain momentum through complexity, political headwinds, and organisational resistance.
"The program has reshaped my approach to sustainability and leadership, encouraging me to think differently about how I lead and drive sustainable initiatives. It has challenged me to adopt new strategies that not only enhance sustainability efforts but also strengthen my leadership in this critical area."
